Friday Favorite Finds 8.24.18

Happy Friday Everyone!  This week’s finds…

Something I want…

{So I have a bit of an obsession with crystal door knobs!  I found these knobs which fit on modern doors, but have the look of an antique crystal door knob.  I’ve started replacing all the brass 1980’s knobs in our house with these.  But let’s just say I never thought about just how many door knobs we actually have in our house until I started buying new ones to replace them all.  We still have several more doors to go…I will get them all done eventually.}

Something I need…

mustela shampoo

{Mustela products smell amazing!  At least those that have a slight fragrance, they have many fragrance free products for sensitive skin as well.  I’ve used the 2-in-1 cleansing gel for hair and body to wash my little girl’s hair too, but it’s not tear free so she is not a fan of that 🙂  But the gentle shampoo is tear free!}

Something to wear…

tea collection fox outfit

{How sweet is this little fox outfit for your little man?!  I don’t have a baby boy, but if I did… 🙂 Tea Collection prints are always incredibly cute and fun, not to mention the fabric is amazingly soft!}

Something to read…

The Nesting Place

{Interior design is a hobby of mine, but I have found it a little more challenging with children.  This is a book that I feel speaks to me.  Some people are able to transition effortlessly from a beautifully curated home with no children to a spotless, organized home with little ones running around…I am not one of those people.  It has been (and still is) a learning process for me to find a balance between both beauty and function.  I want to create a space that I find visually appealing and yet still enjoy all the little moments with my girls as they play.  The title of this book is the story of my life…”It doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful.”}

And a little something extra.

zoology reversible quilt

{Zoology reversible quilt! Adorable.  This week’s featured item from the Porch Lemons & Pearls Shop.  Muslin cotton reversible quilt with a super unique print – spectacles on one side and a wide array of animals on the other side.  Patterns are hand painted designs for that personal touch.  The gender neutral pattern and colors make it wonderful for girls or boys to let their imaginations run wild!  Makes a great baby shower gift, newborn gift, birthday present, etc…it’s a gift that keeps on giving.  Even my almost 3 year old still loves to grab one of her quilts and use it for building a fort, covering her lap as she drives a horse and carriage, or just to snuggle up with mama on the couch.}
